Hi, Does anyone here have experience in applying AP by him/herself? I was told by HR of my company that I can
apply for AP by myself, without the attorney's respresenation.
Is it true?

Thanks:confused:

I did it by myself. I applied at local INS office at Arlington ( Washington DC). My case is pending on VSC.

Form I 131 and recepit of I 485 and 110$. These were the things I mailed. I got it after 28 days.

Hi 140_When, thanks for the infromation! It's good
to know that you applied at local office.

Could you pls tell me when you applied, somewhere this year?
Did you include a separate statment about any "emergent reason" to have AP?

Thanks,

Can we apply for EAD also , Just like what we do for AP .

Please let me know,
Thanks,
Rotny

It's good idea to write separate statment, I guess there is sample of cover letter somewhere in this forum. But in my case, I didnot write one. I applied on March, 2003. Since Lawyer asked 500$ legal fee, I didnot feel to apply through lawyer.

About EAD, I dont have any idea.
