Applied to Re-entry permit, got receipt

Applied Re-entry permit 2 weeks back.
Got receipt. It says usually it takes around 400 days to process this kind of application. I think I'm good to go.

Can any one tell me, should I travel on the exact dates that we specify on I-131 reentry permit application?

Doesnt matter when you travel. I also applied for my Re-entry permit and got the receipt within 2 weeks.

I think you cannot travel before u receive the permit
if ur trip is less than a year u can go without the permit.
 
You can travel without the permit.

I opted the permit to be sent to US consulate in my country.

The above statement is false. You can travel anytime after applying for the Re-entry permit.
 
Just to verify the form for filing reentry permit. Is it I-191? Someone mentioned I-131 here. I am a little confused.

The form is I-131. It is the same form for Advance Parole (before I-485 approval) and for Re-entry Permit (after I-485 approval).
 
Thanks! The form I-191 is "For a legal permanent resident of the United States to apply for permission to return to their home in the United States after time spent outside the United States."
What is the difference?
