Friends,

Attorney mentioned that our 485 packets will reach NSC on 27/06/2007. We haven't received any receipts yet. Will our case be impacted with this change.. any idea it may be accepted / rejected..?

If the packet has reached NSC on 06/27/2007 - you should be good.....
most centers ....stamp the receipt number on the check the very same day or next day....and try to deposit the checks in 2-4 days....

U should be able to see - if the checks got deposited, then your application got accepted....If so, the back of the check would have the receipt numbers stamped on them.....That's the quickest way to know....about 485 receipt...

I think in about 7-14 days, USCIS would mail the receipt notices to you...that's another way to confirm....
 
My packet reached USCIS on June 8.They have not sent any receipt or cashed my checks as of this evening ( July2).My lawyer has filed 22 applications during same time frame and none of them have received any response yet.But I have seen on this forum that some lucky guys did receive receipt notices when they had sent their applications by June 16.You never know with USCIS.Any comment what will happen to my application in view of revised July visa bulletin although I was current from June bulletin

I am in the same boat as well. My I-485 case was sent on 6/13, still waiting to hear back on my receipt.

Now that no dates are available, can we continue to expect our receipts or now we are dumped as well and our package will be returned?

please advise.
 
Got Biometrics Notice (Applied on June-

My lawyer applied on June-6 (substitute EB-3, Dec-2001) for concurrent I-140 & I-485. She never got back to me whether they sent the receipt or not. I got a notice of biometrics (finger printing) yesterday in mail. It was dated June-26. So, I guess they accepted the application and so sent me the biometrics notice.

You guys should also hear back very soon from USCIS.
