Applied in France, but living in US now

Hi,

I applied for Canadian GC in Oct '01 in Paris consulate.
Absolutely no communication until May '02, when abruptly they asked me to do the Medical.
I did the medical right away, but no communication since then. Letters, calls, emails, no response!!

(1) Has anyone been in the same situation?
(2) Does Medical exam mean no interview?
(3) Is there a tracking site, or do lawyers have access to one?

For tracking have you used this:

Use the File number they gave you to see whats going on.

Also call the place where you applied or fax them a letter.
