Applied Extension request to be cancelled

My brother had applied extension for my mother from CSC but she will be departing back within the I-94 time period. Do we need to call the csc center and take back the extension application ? Is there any formal procedure to take back the application and does that need to be done from the applicant. If anybody has any idea please let me know ASAP as she is travelling this weekend.
