I applied for EAD and AP. RD is 12/05/03. Center is NSC. When do you think I will get it. Current EAD expires 02/11/04. Anybody else who applied for their EAD's around this time.

does your LIN# associated with old EAD gets changed with Renewal App for EAD or does it remain same??

my old LIN was 03-004 series..my LIN is 04-045 series.

Everytime you submit a new application, you will get a new number.

We applied for our 3rd EAD on RD 12/10/03 .We got the letter to schedule appointments for "Biometrics" 3 weeks later. No EAD cards yet, ours expires on 03/04/04 and we are going for Biometrics this coming friday.

EAD Approved

EAD approved today (1/13) per online status.
NSC - RD 12/05.
Yours should be comming soon too ...

My center is NSC and I didin't apply online. I heard onlines are fast. I should have done that. Anyways..my I-485 is transferred to local office and local office will not process EAD's. So I have to apply in Service center and they eventually transfer the case to local office which will take one more month. Anyways if 90 days passed, I can go to the local ofice and get an Interim EAD from there. I should not have problems I guess. My EAD expires 02/07/04.

Why do u get it?? I didn't get any when my 1st ead approved.

What "biometrics" means???

Don't be surprise.I made myself the same question when I saw a letter from BCIS asking us to call and schedule for "Biometrics",for 4 of us(me,my husband and 2 children).
It means "digital photo,fingerprints and signature"all taken at the same time.We don't know why they asked us to do this,once we renewal the EADs by mail they already have our photos and signed forms.Will see...

PS:We only had 1 fingerprint taken by now.We were waiting for 2nd FP notice.

VSC but the letter we received is from MSC.

But this really sux. Imean why would they ask for another set of photos when they already have it. Is it common to recieve "Biometrics" on every EAD renewal or they just harass few of us??


Btw we also had our 1st FP done last year when do we receive notice for 2nd FP usually??

I really don't know why they do this.To be honest I am so surprised as you are.I don't think that they schedule people for biometrics on every EAD,this is my 3rd one.The only thing is that my first fingerprint was done in april/02 and I didn't go for a 2nd one yet,my appointment is tomorrow I will post details about it.I don't know when they are suppose to schedule people for 2nd FP I guess they do it just before the interview date or on the day of it.
