Application Type in Part 2 of I-485 application

Hello
I filled the I-485/I-130/I-765 last week for my wife. I am a USC..
My wife is on H1 visa here.

In the I-485 application, what option is to be used for Application Type ??? I am talking about Part 2 of the Application where it says that "I am applying for adjustment to permanent resident status because :---""

I had used option a), but I am getting confusing response from INS now. One IIO said use option b, other said use h) - Marriage to US Citizen.

One of the moderators also recommended option h..
Getting a little confused now. Wanted to know what are the people using normally..

I used option a). But now that I think about it, I could have used h).

(Atttach a copy of the approval notice-- or a relative, special immigrant juvenile or special
immigrant military visa petition filed with this application that will give you an immediately
available visa number, if approved.)

on second thoughts I would have used h) also, but now I have sent it with option a), so lets see what Newark office response will be...

Hello AmIntrouble,
I received the reciept from INS yesterday.
The mailing date was 6/17/03.
The receipt date is 6/19/03.

As per the receipt the AOS interview will be done in 300 days or before ie by 4/14/2004.
Is it possible to know what your receipt said about that timeline ? Was it 300 days for you too or was it less ?

The letter is standard. In my case too it said 300 days for the AOS interview.

I got my FP notice within a few weeks of the rcpt date.
EAD done on 91st day.
AOS Interview done approx 5 1/2 months from rcpt date.
Card arrived in about 6 weeks, after interview.

My application just over 3 weeks! Thats why I'm quite surprise that they transferred to Baltimore very quick.
