My I140/I485 will be filed with the Nebraska Service Center sooner or later. I live in California. Say if I get a job and move over to Texas, will my 485 application be transferred to a local office in Texas or will it just be transferred to the Texas Service Center or will it continue to be processed by the Nebraska Service Center. If this is the case and if there are no problems with my case, will it still lead to an interview in one of the local offices in Texas. Reason I am asking this is that if my case will be transferred to a local office for an interview just because I moved from one state to another, I will not be willing to make a change since this could only delay adjudication of my 485. Can someone please advise or share your experiences??
