Application Status

My N-400 priority date is July 14th 2004. I applied while under the jurisdiciton of the Arlington Office. Two months later I moved to Richmond which is under the Norfok sub-office. I submitted the AR-11 and changed my address over the phone. When I contact USCIS the representatives don't have any information on my case. How can I check to see if my case has been transferred to the appropriate office?

This may or may not apply to your situation, but when I did my I485 adjustment, I moved from one state to the other, and all the phone calls I made, including letters did nothing for my case, untill I visited USCIS (INS). That jump started the case fingerprinting, interview was all completed in less than two months, amazing right?, and just from one visit!

From my experience the phone calls, letters and certified mail don't work much, some may beg to differ, but this has been my expereince, so I would take a day off work, and go change it at their office.
