application received date in AVM is RD or ND?

My lawyer mailed I-485 on July 16, today I got the EAC number from my lawyer. When I check the VSC, the AVM said this application was received on Aug. 30th, 2001. Is this date notice date or receipt date? Anybody recently got I485 receipt has same experience?
