Application Mail Date

Hi
Just a quick question before I mail N-400 application. I received my Green Card on August 10 2004. When Could I mail my application to Arizona with having any chance of being sending it early? I did not stay outside the USA for more than 3 weeks in last 5 years. I want to apply as soon as I am qualified. Which date should I send my application?

yeah that is correct.

On a side note, My 90-day rule started February 17th, but I mailed my application on the 6th (they received it on the 9th). I thought they were going to mail it back because it was too early, but they waited until the 19th to cash the check and mail the NOA. I guess I was lucky but I wouldn't advise anybody to do the same, as I have heard stories about people having their application mailed back even when USCIS received them two or three days before their eligibility date.
