Application for my minor child

I will apply for US citizenship based on being a permanent resident for the last 5 years for myself and my wife. I was wondering what is the process for applying for US citizenship for my child who is 13 years? Do I need to send in his application with ours as well?

As long as the child
a) has green card
b) is living with you
c) is listed on N400

he/she will automatically naturalize when you do.

From a paperwork perspective, you can go to passport office and get his passport by showing your naturalization certificate, OR you can get him a certificate of citizenship. Both/either of these happen after you naturalize ... not before.

That's right. The application for certificate of citizenship is N-600
