Can someone pls tell me how early I can apply for citizenship? Some people told me that I could apply as early as 4 yrs and 6 mths after GC whereas some advised me that it was 4 yrs and 9 mths. Which one is the correct time frame???
It is 4 years and 9 months from the date you became a LPR. Unless you have special circumstances (Reentry Permit etc.). I would suggest taking a look at the 'Guide to Naturalization' http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/services/natz/guide.htm
