Anyone applied to Detroit office directly in recent days? What is the processing time?


if anyone not aware of this, here is the explanation:

Detroit consulate office conducts two seminars every year and whoever comes to that seminar , they will get some priority processing benefit. That means participants can directly apply to Detroit office instead of buffalo. I was told in the seminar that maximum processing time to get Canadian PR is 12 months.

my case has been transfered to detroit, and have no heard from them since, any thing i cud do to expedite the process

You don't have to/can't do anything.so keep waiting for their love letter....;)

Once in March and Once in October every year.

I have applied in Dec'03 and got medicals without interview in Jan'04.
