It seems like SR (Special Registration) applicants are falling in black holes.
Do you have a common name and got I-485 approved within last few months, please post here to keep our hope alive!!

I am from one of SR countries, but I didn't register because I used AP.

last LUD update was on July 14 with message " on June 27 we recieved......"
 
A friend got approved. He is from SR country with reasonably common name. RD is APR-2002. No RFE. AC 21 case.
 
I'm from SR country, with common but not extremely common name, got approved on July6th. I'm 10/02 EB3 semi concurrent case that supposedly does not fall into any pilot program, still got approved. So obviously I cannot smell any discrimination here. Unless your name check got stuck, which you can verify with FBI, I don't think they are putting us into blackholes intentionally.

I am from an SR country and a reasonably common name, Got approved on 07/16 WAC 02-124, but I would not be surprised, for new cases, that the name check would take longer and they might have to wait longer than non SR applicants. My case was over 2 years old so name check may not have been an issue. Just a theory, have no proof to back it up
