Appication Questions

Hello. Sorry if I am probably asking for questions that have been answered before, but I'd love to get clarification:

I am applying for permanent residency and have questions as i read through the application forms:

1. Language ability documentation. If my education from bachelor to master is in USA and my 4 years of work experience is in USA as well, will I have a chance to prove my proficiency?
On the application it needs "A submission written by you that details your training in and use of English". Can anyone explain to me what they actually want?

2. Work experience.
They require notarized employement contract. I work as regular full-time employee and there is no such contract. What should I do for this?
They also require company official seal. If my company doesn't have such thing, will it be ok?

3. Proof of language profiency.
They need evidence in writing: written submission detailing your training in, and use of, English.
Can you give me example how to write this letter?
What will be acceptable for them? official transcripts?

4. Settlement funds: will bank statement be enough?

5. Do all documents need to be notarized? does it make any difference?

Thanks!

--> No, you dont have to prove by exam(IELTS). But today, I read on this site. someone uploaded .doc file format to send with Application.

--> You can take 'Employee Verification Letter' from HR dept. Then your HR person and you can go together(or only HR person) to notary and notarised it. For USA GC, I did that way.
you will have appointment letter also. You can talk to your HR dept and explain your need, they will give you.

--> visit the posting of last 3 days. you will find one uploaded file.

4. Settlement funds: will bank statement be enough?

--> Yes. If you can manage last 3 or 6 or 12 months bank statement then it is better.

5. Do all documents need to be notarized? does it make any difference?

--> If Canadian authority is not asking to notarise then dont waste money or effort.

English

Hi,
I just wanted to bring to your notice that somone with a profile alsmot identical to yours has been asked to take the IELTS/CELPIP.
This is inspite of the fact that he has done his masters in the US and then wroked there for over 5 years.
I guess it all depends upon the visa officer but I would not like to take chances just to save 200 dollars
