Appearing for FP ahead of schedule

Hello guys,

My wife got a call for her FP at Newark scheduled on July 11th, 2002. Hers is a follow to join 485 case which we applied on May 16th, 2002. Can I take her for finger printing before the scheduled date ? Will it be a problem later ? Any advise guys !!!

Scheduling FP is upto local INS office - in your case Newark. if they agree you can do it any time. All depends on their work load. They have to give priority to whoever has appointment you see !! Just go there and explain your situation. 90% of the cases they agree as taking FP wont take more than 10 minutes. There is absolutely no problem in doing FP before schedule date. I also did my FP before schedule date ( In fact I went to a different INS office than mentioned on my FP notice).
 
me too.

I went for my FP in advance, actually my scheduled FP was Feb 1st but I went there on Jan 16th. There was no queue and so no problem.
