My appeal (NIW) was finally filed to the AAO last month and I have not gotten the receipt notice yet.
My attorney said that we would not expect the receipt notice from the AAO which is inconsistent with this forum. Some people receive the receipt notice from the AAO.
Also, how do I check the status of my appeal filed to the AAO? My LIN number is also different from my I-140 Lin number that I initially filed last year. Is that two different LIN number?
