After my 7th year extension got denied (middle of 2004) , my lawyer filed for Motion to Reopen and Appeal within 30days. It has been more than 6 months now and we haven't heard anything at all about the appeal or about MTR.
But for our status query last week, we are now told that our appeal was denied 2 months ago but MTR is still pending with a officer. .We never received anything from them about the denial of the appeal.
What is going on??? I thought MTR gets the first look before it goes to appeal office??? Do any of you know about this...
(Please check my previous posts for my case history. The reason for denial was lack of evidence about LC's 365 days old pd. It was more than 365 days old when I applied but I didn't have Receipt notice from DOL. Now I have it with the MTR and APPEAL applications).
