AP" Which date is expiration date

My 485 is pending and 140 approved. My AP expires at July 31, 2007. I used AP last year on Dec 10, 2006. On my passport and I94, it said "Parole until Dec 9, 2007". Which date is the expiration date? AP's or Passport/I94's? If the latter, does it mean I don't need to renew the AP in order to use after July 31, 2007 but before Dec 9, 2007 ?

By the way, it is very strange that the official did not even stamp on my only AP I submited at JFK airport. I read threads here, it seems they should at least stamp or take one copy. Hopefully this won't cause problems.

Your AP expiration date is July 31 2007 (not the exp. date on I-94).

I have a similar situation. So what does the Paorle expiration date on the passport mean ?

I read the USCIS documentation and it is confusing addressing this issue. All they say is that it is valid upto a year after it is issued, and at one place it did say "at the time or entry".

Would it be risky to travel if your document date is expired but the Parole date on the passport is still valid? Please help and let me know if any USCIS document explains or refers that. Thanks a lot.

Yes. it is not advised to travel with expired AP even though Parole date on the passport is still valid.

"Not advised" is a bit of an understatement. If you depart the country after your AP has expired, and without a valid visa as backup, then you will cancel your green-card process and will not be able to re-enter the country.
