I have a question. Which box is checked on your Advance Parole? "Approved" or the one below: "Conditions/comments"
On mine it's the "Conditions/comments" and next to it says: "As an alien paroled pursuant to section 244.14 of the Immigration and Nationality Act"
I had an AP a couple of years ago for my then employment based case and there it was the "Approved" box that was checked.
You might wonder why I'm asking this. The reason is that we told the interviewing officer that we plan on travelling to Europe in about a month. He said in case my green card should not arrive by then, I could use my AP to get back in the US and he wasn't going to take it from me. He added that if my green card is mailed out while I'm in Europe, it'd involve more hassle to explain the border officer why I'm using my AP to enter the US. He would definately see on his computer that this person should have a green card. He says I should be allowed to enter though.
I'm fairly confident that my GC will arrive soon, but I still may need my AP IF we decide to travel without my GC.
So "Approved" or "Conditions/comments"? Everything else looks good an the AP, expiration date, signature of officer etc.
