AP Waiting too long.

I am waiting for my AP for last 85 days, I don't understand what is going on at VSC.

485 RD: 8/31
AP AD: God knows

I am planning for a walk in AP at Newark, NJ. My AP will have been pending for more than 60 days when I go. I have to go to India and cannot book tickets bec of this whole messy process.

Anyone has prev experience abt walkin AP at Newark??

I applied AP on 03/11/2003 with ND 03/31/2003. It was pending for a long time (more than 5 months), and finally my attorney said this is outrageous, so she filed an inquiry to VSC on 09/03/2003. Somehow my AP got approved the next day 09/04/2003. Not sure whether this is just a coincidence or not.

reading this i'm getting scared.previously hope that in these new processing time there would be date changed but no.
I need to go out of country in Feb hope if gets approved before that.

The service centers are moving over resources to 485, atleast that was the information I gathered from a staff member at a Congressman's office. That is probably the reason behind the AP delay. And if true, I wouldn't be so mad at INS.
