AP validity question

My AP says "Presentation of the original of this document prior to Dec 25, 2002 will authorize an immigration officer as a port of entry in the US to permit the named bearer, whose photograph appears hereon, to enter the US"

I left the US and re-entered on Feb 26, 2002. There is now a stamp on my AP and I-94 saying "Paroled Until Feb 26, 2003". When I re-entered on 4/18/02, there was an entry "reparoled on 4/18"

I want to leave the US on Dec 15, 2002 and return on Jan 15, 2003. My question is whether I will be able to enter the US based on "Paroled Until Feb 26, 2003". I am concerned because of the "Dec 25, 2002" date on my AP

Any ideas? similar experiences/concerns?

Thanks,
madman

Lawyer's input

Finally got hold of my lawyer.

He told me that I had to return to US before Dec 25'02. The feb 26'03 date is meaningless as far as travel is concerned.

My options are to go to local INS office and apply for parole since the travel is on an emergency basis

madman - could you pls. post your experience with entry on AP. Seems you have done it a few times succesfully. Asking bcoz, have never used AP in the past, and would like to be prepared with the papers that INS looks at @ POE.

Thanks.....
