AP uses twice

I need to use my AP twice. Any one has same experience about this? Should I specify this when I apply my AP? Thanks. TJIF

You can use AP multiple times, and you don't have to specify when you apply.

The reason I asked is that I read in past posts that some one had to surrender one of AP pages.

Actually while applying for AP there is a question that asks for Multiple trips on the form.

Make sure you check that box

Yes- there is single entry AP and mult. entry AP. You surrender a copy but that does not mean the other copy will not let you do mult. entry.

Apply for multiple entry AP. They will send you 3 copies. The first time you use it, u may be asked to surrender one page. From the second time on, they will only stamp the page and let you in. Always carry photocopies from the second time, and offer them a photocopy if they ask to keep the document. This is as per my lawyers instructions.

When applying Check the box for multiple AP. My experience with AP is that have received two copies each time. Carried both copies. They took both , kept one and returned the second copy with stamp on it. Used the returned copy for next travel. they again stamped and returned it. I asked the officer and he told me that i could use it again till it expired.
