AP use after GC approval

Our GC was approved while we were on vacation in India. On our return at airport were paroled in by the seconday inpsection.

When I mentioned it to the officer that our GC has been approved he said unless I present proof he doesn't know anything. I checked my mail last night and we have our cards and approval notices. Does being paroled make any difference to my approved GC?

The Officer @ POE, should welcome you with the Approved Message. I heard, that they should see when he look-up your AP related record. As we all know, anything is possible and/or invisible with USCUS even for officers :)

I think, you do not need to worry. But, you can schedule an appointment (InfoPass) with USCIS to just confirm for sure...
