AP Updated today, but ...

HI !

Today when I saw my portfolio at USCIS website, I see that the update date on I-131 application is today's date, however the status is still the same.

Is there any lag between the update and when it reflects in the real status ? I guess they worked on my case today, but status is the same ...

if in yr profile's email is turned on, DId you recieve any email also regarding any updates in yr case .
if yes what it says,

Any one else has this exprience when bcis sends email using costomer profile, I mean at the time of final decision or all the time if there is any change in file

yes I got mail...

Yes I did get mail but it said the same thing " Your case was received..... it is taking 220 to 250 days.....etc. "

If the status was to be kept the same why did they touch the case ? There was no other filing at the same time and no other related case ( 140 or 485 ) was touched...

USCIS has strange ways of working.. Now they are confusing people more with redundant info
