Please share your opinions. In the application for AP under reasons I put a country I intend to travel to. Now I am making plans to go to a different country (like Mexico) and not travel to the other country at all, or maybe travel at a later time (not the dates declared on the application). Is it a problem?

Please share your experience!

Does the AP care which country you will go? Does the AP care how many countries you will go?

that's what I am asking. If they ask for it on the application, I didn't know if they track it somehow at a later time.

I believe INS does not care what countries and when you will travel to. As long as AP is valid and I-485 is pending. I can see them worrying if you fly back in from Jordan or something like that...
Plans change, dates changes. Emergencies happen. I would not worry about INS giving hard time to you.
If they would care, they would not give AP for multi use and 1 year expiration.

Correct.

That's been my husband's experience too. They've never asked him when he re-enters about where he's been - they just want to check and make sure all of your paperwork is current and up-to-date. If you have a valid AP, you'll be fine when you re-enter.
