AP tranfered to Local office

I have applied for AP last August 2003. In Jan 2004 it was transfered to local office as my I-485 is also transfered to local office for interview. Is there anyone else in the forum whose AP or EAD is transfered to local office. What is the process to check the status of the application if it is pending in the local office.
