AP still NOT approved...What to Do?

Hi guyz,

I have applied AP for both (me & spouse) on April 6th 2005 but I have not received any updates on our cases. As per VSC processing dates, they are currently processing I-131 applications with date of May 14, 2005.

I have also opened an inquiry with national service center during which rep said that you should here in about 30 days. Do you know what else I can do to get it approved quickly, like trying to reach VSC instead of national service center or walk in local office to get temp?

Is it the general experience that when you apply ONLINE (EAD or AP), it generally takes more time than a paper filed application?

Any guidance will be appreciated.

Also, my company is now planning to send me to India for off-shore delivery. I currently possess valid H1B (which I need to get stamped once I go to India) and as you already know I have not heard anything about AP.

Will it be safe to just travel on H1B without getting AP approved? I am in EB3 category so I don't see my case getting approved till Oct. Plus I am not sure how much is the wait for H1B stamping back in India.

Any thoughts will be really appreciated.
