Mother-in-law just recuping from a lung surgery, and my dad recuping from a prostate surgery that became complicated. Have bought tickets to visit them in the last week of dec '03.

64K q: Should I proactively contact a congressman (Raleigh, NC) and see what can be done to ensure we get the AP on time.
or
Just sit tight and wait for the AP.

Extremely concerned as thanksgiving and christmas approach fast. BCIS I bet will slow down work. Certainly not an emergency but I just can't afford not to make the trip as aged parents are waiting to see my new-born infant as well.
Any input is appreciated.
thx

it is good to do something

call them up or visit local office. guys on the forum have done it
and got it.
why wait till the last movement

After 60 days you can contact local office for AP. If no luck at local office then contact Congressman immediately.
