AP rfe please help

I applied advance parole on march 9th 2004 for me and my wife , i recieved mine but my wife got an rfe on july 3rd , they asked for the copy of the passport , we submitted the reply on 6th july and now we have to leave to India on the 1st of august . can we go to the local office and get an interim AP ??? please kindly help

Well, you can get APs at local USCIS office if you could provide them with valid reason for emergency travel.

hello and thanks foir the info what kind of emergency proof should we provide i heard if you pay the $165.00 fees again they will issue the same day at the local ins office .. anybody did this ?? please help
