Hello Gurus:
I have not renewed by AP after the first time since I thought I will not be going to india that year. I have been renewing my EAD's regularly.I am planning to go to India next year. My next renewal of EAD is only in Apr 07 and I was wondering if I can apply for my AP also that. Will there be any problem for my AP that time?

I am also on same boat. I have to file for AP.

my AP was approved in 2003 but never used. travel once using h1. Now do i need to apply for NEW AP or renew?

You have to apply for a New AP, before you travel. Just make sure that you apply ahead of time - it might take up to 90 days or more for the approval.

You can apply for a new AP when you need it - there is no requirement that you have a valid AP all the time -- you can have gaps in it, if you so deisre.

so Do i send copy of previous AP or not? Also I need address where to send it. Do i send AP to same address where I apply for EAD?

Also my ead is valid till Jan 2007. So is it required to have valid ead when applying for ead for travelling period? if i apply for AP will they issue till jan 2007 or july 2007?
