AP Renewal Question -- Urgent

I have to visit India in 01-May-2003 (My Sister's Marriage), Can someone let me know that is it possible to get the AP RENEWED at Newark Office in Person. If so what is the process.

My AP will be Expiring on 15-May-03, and if I apply for renewl at VSC, I won't get the renewal before I leave. I would appreciate if someone can reply.

Based on my understanding, AP's are not renewed, they're issued fresh each time you apply, unlike EAD's which are usually back-to-back and are considered renewals. Apply for your AP as soon as possible. It takes about 45-60 days. You might want to visit the Newark BCIS office in person and explain your situation to them.

u can get it at newark same day.
go early before 6am.
we got it last week, went by 6 am, got it by 2 pm.

Both of us (My Wife and Me) are required to go or just, I can go with all the required Documents (for her) and get AP issues.

And Can you also let me know, any other doc require, other then listed below.

1. Copy of I-485 Receipt
2. Copy of Passport.
3. Filled Form I-131.
4. 2 Immigration style Photos
5. Copy of previous AP.
