AP Renewal Question - Thanks for your Help

Hi Guys,
My wife’s and son’s AP is expiring on July 15th. Earlier, we had not considered traveling, so we did not renew the AP. Now, they would like to travel to India in July and return in September. Applying for a renewal now with VSC (60 – 90 Days) may not come in time for their departure.
Is there any way of getting AP renewed faster?
If so, what is the procedure? How long will this take?, What documents are required? Do I need a lawyer to do it?

If it's an emergency, you could go to your local BCIS office and request one. I presume they will issue you an AP immediately.

The same that you used initially.

No.
 
Or you can take a chance & apply immediately...and hope for the best..!! Who knows you might get it in 30days..!!
