My 485 application is pending since RD (11/05/01) at CSC and I received both my AP and EAD from INS.
My AP is expiring Dec 31th of 2002 and I applied for a renewal in August. It got approved on Sept 11th 2002 but I have not recvd it to date. I have my india trip planned (ticked purchased) in Dec and returning in Jan.
My lawyer is trying to contact INS and get it re-issued but I have lost faith in them (INS). Is there some way I could go to the local INS office and coax/cajole them in issuing me an AP again?
I would greatly appreciate if anybody could point me a direction so that I can get my AP in the next month.

P.S: I also applied for renewal of EAD at the same time and the EAD application is still pending. But I guess I can go to the local office and get one issued.
