AP renewal from India

We are in the final stage of GC process. Labor filed in 2003 Feb, EB3. We want to leave to India for good in 2011 March. But I just wanted to know if I can renew our AP from India.

Whats the longest we can stay out of US when AP used ?
Can we renew from India ?
Will the GC process stop when AP expires ?

You cannot renew the AP from India (by most analyses). Even if you do, you cannot use the new one to return to the US unless it was approved before you departed the US. If you renew from India, you will by definition not be in the US when it is approved, so you can't use it to return to the US. Thus, your AOS application will be abandoned.
