AP renewal cycle

I filed for 485 back in JUNE 2003 and got AP and EAD approved for one year
7/19/03 till 7/18/04
Then i applied only EAD renewal and got approved for another year(till 7/18/05)
Now i am planning to travel and if i apply for AP now will INS issue AP till 7/18/05 only or i get AP valid for one year from the date of approval?
 
You will get AP valid for one year from date of approval. There is no concept like 'renewal' of AP. Every AP is treated a new one, and is not linked to previous AP dates.

One question though ..... so lets say I travel after getting the new AP and come back say in 5/2005 .... assuming both APs are valid at that time, can I show either one at the PoE to obtain entry ?
Or does applying for a new AP, automatically cancel/revoke the older AP ??

Just wondering ... if you can use either, then it may help someone if they took the wrong AP by mistake or some such case.
 
If both are valid at the time, then you can use either one. Only condition is AP should be valid at the time of entry. You may have 10 simultaneous AP's if you want !!

Last time I came back on my AP, I have been parolled till June 05. I have a new valid AP till Oct 05. Whta does the "parolled Until June 05" mean? Do I have to do anything additional after June 05?
