AP renewal approved even applied before 6 months

When I applied for AP renewal for my wife I did not pay enough attention to expire date, Current AP was expiring in Feb 2004. And I had applied in June 2003. And it got approved.

This could help if someone is planing long trip on AP, so they can apply before 6 months of expire date.
