AP Renewal and Travel outside the country

I have a Sep 01 RD and my current AP is valid until Nov 02 end. I am planning to apply for AP renewal soon. Is there any restriction on travelling outside the country, while the AP renewal application is pending with INS. (Original AP application is valid, though).

Appreciate any inputs on this.
