I just sent in copies of my I-94, etc to my lawyer. Since I have to travel at the end of August I asked her if there is any thing known as an AP renewal. She said that there isnt and that all AP applications are 'new'.
Any thoughts on below
1)Is there a difference between an AP renewal and AP new app?
2) I know UCIS says that you should not leave the country between the expiration of an old AP and the receipt the new AP approval... has anyone done it (successful or failed) ?
3) My existing AP expires on Aug 29th and I am scheduled to be out of the country from sep1-sep30. What if I travel on aug 28th without my new approval and just wait for my new approval (I realize that it could get delayed).
4) Advice
