How long will it takes nowadays? I need to apply for my wife. My GC approved long back.

i appplied on 9/20/07 and it got approved on 2/27/08
Hi ,
I've seen that these days some APs get aproved fast , and some take long time !!! These delays , i think depends on how qualified it is the officer who is incharge of your aplication , also if the aplication it is filed correctly ...etc. Just make sure that you file it properly , send it to the office where your I485 it is pending , and make sure that it is done 120 days before expiration of old one ( if you have one ) !!! Also make sure that you send it on PAPER APLICATION , because the USCIS it is NOT accepting any I-131 aplications thru E-FILE , for the moment ( temporarly ) !!! I've seen an update on their website stating so !!! Do some research , and make it right !!! I just hope that will work well for your wife , and maibe get GC aproved before anything else !!!
