folks,

I've my H1-B valid till April 2005. I'm planning to apply for my Advance parole in a month or so. When I visit India before April 2005, which one should I use - H1B or AP. Since AP will be approved for 1year (most probably), I would like to know what is best for me.

You don't need to use AP as long as you are on H1, you can enter back on H1 as long as it is valid. In future if you have to move on to your EAD from H1 for any reason, that's when your need to use your AP.
