AP question

My 2nd AP was applied in Dec, 2003. It is still not approved yet eventhough the processing date for I-131 at TSC shows as Jan 29, 2004. My current AP will expire during this month (May). If I have to travel abroad anytime before the 2nd AP is approved, what are my options?! My Lawyer has not offered any useful suggestion. Appreciate any help from the knowledgable folk here.

I wouldn't travel without AP if I were you. Call the 1-800 number, your case should have been handled by now. Mine was filed on february 5, I got RFE for a copy of I-140 a week ago. Hope to get it approved in the next couple of weeks. I also need to travel, but will have to hold on until I get the papers in my hands.

If, however, your H1 visa is still valid, I'm pretty sure you can travel based on it.
