AP Question...Please Help

My AP is valid untill Jun 5th and my EAD is valid untill Jun 2nd. I am returning from India on Jun 2nd.

Will there be a problem at port of entry since my AP is expiring almost immediately and my EAD would have expired the same day. I have applied to renew my EAD, and for a new AP but I don't expect them to be approved anytime soon.

I am planning to go for an interim EAD on Jun 3rd, by that time I would have completed 90 days from my EAD receipt date.

Bring receipt notices for AP and EAD renewal, just in case. I dont think you have any problem with the current AP since it's not expired yet. The only risk is that at point of entry they might ask for EAD (rare instance). At which point, you show the EAD renewal receipt notice. While in INdia, you can check online for EAD status. Hopefully, the status changes to Approved - which is very probable. Print out case status and take with you, and you can show this if asked for at POE.

Dont forget to bring I-485 receipt notice too.
