ap need help

hi i had filed for my I-485 and other papers including AP thru my wife who is a USC on dec 23rd. now i need to go to india in in june for some family function. the recipt came from missouri and they are now processing cases for AP filed in feb 2004.i put an inquiry by calling the customer care people in uscis and they said tht i will hear from them in 2- 3 weeks but did not hear. i again put an inquiry and they said i will hear from them soon but till now nothing.can any body suggest me what to do has any body been through this. can i go to the district center and get AP. please some body answer me.thanks in advance
 
Some local centers might give, but most don't

The NCSC is a waste, they r not of much help.
U could contact a congressman/senator r try sending a fax to the SC.
 
You Can go lo local service center and take AP by showing them valid reason(emergency issue). Please consult your laywer before doing this.
 
hi can anybody let me know the fax no. for missouri service center that is the national bebefit center. thanks

OmGv is right. It is waste of time practically.
 
Reasons to issue advance parole from district office

I have received letter from Nebraska when I have faxed letter to expedite .It says .........
Current Service policy provides that expedited processing requests may be accepted for following reasons

1.Severe financial loss to company or individual
2.Extreme emergent situation
3.Humanitarian situation
4.Non profit status of petitioner in persuit of cultural/social interest in US
5.Department Of Defence or National Interest Situation [Note :Request must come from Official United State Gov. entity and states that delay will be detrimental to our Gov.
6.Service error :
7.Compelling interest of the Service

Reasons 2 ,6 depends on how Officers view it .. so good luck.
