AP lost in mail

My AP renew got approved on Apr. 6 according to online status, but I never receive it. I called IIO and they confirmed it had been sent on Apr. 10....So it must be lost in mail! The IIO suggests me to see the local office (San Jose) first, if they can't help me, I will need redo the application again. Anyone has similar experience before? Any advice if I go to talk the local officer? Thanx!

Why redo the application ? Why can't they just send another approval sheet with your picture ?

It could be possible that the approval notice is returned back to INS. In that case, INS should resend the paper. I had a similar experience with EAD but don't know about AP.
 
Thanx Life. They insist that all the original approves are send out and they won't send another one. Of course, I hope if the original notices go back to INS, they will be resent to me.
 
I' had similar situation with AP. When I called IIO and told them that it has been 6 weeks and I've not received the AP. Then the stupid lady replied that "It seems to have got lost in mail and U have to apply again"

Then my lawyer made an inquiry and they mailed me again
