AP lost in mail

I just found out my AP was lost in mail, it was approved and sent out on May 30th, but I never received it. I just called the VSC and the agent said I have to refile the AP if I need it. Does any one have this experience? Is refiling necessary, is it possible that they can send me a copy instead of refiling? Thanks for your comments.

Contact your lawyer. They must have received your APs.

I lost my AP too.

However, I went to the local office and got another AP after paying the fee of $170.00.

You need to file "Action on an approved case" I think it is I-864 or I-824 to get a duplicate copy (suggested by TSC). Alternatively, you can file another I-131 (suggested in this forum).

In my case:
I filed Form 1510 with USPS for Lost Mail. This way, I have proof that I have not received the AP document mailed out by USCIS June 10.
