AP & I-94 Question

Hello:

My family is going to travel fron Hyderabad, India using AP to San Francisco via Singapore. She is carrying all necessary docyments like EAD & 485 receipt.

I live in Chicago. I am on a project in San Jose and staying there most of the time.

My question is regarding to the address in I-94 form. Do my family need to write Chicago address or San Jose address? I just want to prepare for any unexpected questions at the port of entry.

Please share your experience. Your answers will be appreciated.

She needs to put the address, USCIS has in their records(when filing for 485 or any subsequent AR-11s).
 
she can always verbally mention that you are in San Jose for few weeks/days ( that is why she is landing at SFO) then you all return to the earlier/mentioned address after your client work is over .
