AP Hell!!!

I am a USC married to a Palestinian. We started our K3 process in 11/09 and got our interview on 9/17/10. The Consulate told him the interview went well but he was put in additional processing and he had to wait. On 12/26/10 he got a phone call from a Consular officer telling him he could send his passport to the Consulate and he was approved. Three days later he got another phone call from the same officer asking him where he had been the last 10 years and they were returning his passport with NO visa. It has now been almost been another 5 months of waiting. I have contacted DOS, the Consulate and my senator and all tell me the same, I have to just wait. I can't just wait any more and have to do something, any suggestions???
 
Could it be possible that your husband went somewhere and never disclose that information on the forms? Or could he been a victim of ID theft?
 
On any of the forms it states 'lived for' for over one year which he never did. He went to school in Iraq but that was disclosed on another form, he was only there for around 9 months.
