Last left the US on: April 25, 2004

1:25 pm- I arrived at O`Hare via United Airlines (from Paris)
1:28 pm- I walked to a "US Citizens and Permanent Residents" counter
1:29 pm- I walked out of the line with all the necessary documents (I-94, AP docs, and customs form) stamped.

By far the quickest exit for me from the immigration folks at POEs. The officer asked me just one question-the basis of adjustment status and I said Employment. He then proceeded to stamp all the docs and wished me well.

AP Experience at ORD

I am on sabbatical and work for a university in France. Good luck with finding a position like that!

AP at O'Hare

pv,

I do not quite comprehend your use of the emoticons in your post, but let me say this one last time (for info purposes alone): I do work in France (have been since the past 15 months) while my immigration paperwork is being taken care of in the US.

oh no...dont misunderstand me. That was only in a good spirit. I liked the way you answered earlier. So, my emoticons was the reflections of a genuine smile.

cheers...
:)
